My undergraduate major at Auburn University was Public & Professional Writing. The curriculum of this major promoted the growth of my professional identity. I learned how to operate in various professional settings. Also, the curriculum allowed me to develop my professional identity with regard to my writing style. I took several course which required students to develop a professional attitude in multiple contexts i.e. presentations, mock interviews, career fairs, etc. I can confidently say that my time at Auburn University has allowed me to develop a professional identity that is suitable for a variety of work environments.
