
Education has always been a large influence in my life. As a first-generation student, I feel like education is important to creating a life for myself that can make me and my family proud. Also, since educators have been a key factor in my success, I want to be there for others and help students like me or otherwise who need someone to depend on and give them the education they need to succeed academically, professionally, and personally.
